I am an Architect from India. I got my Master of Arts in Fiction and Entertainment from SCI_Arc. During my postgraduate masters program at SCI_Arc, I came across something wonderful known as “world building” which taught me how to speculate and visualize an alternate world within an existing context. I made a short film in the course of the last year; a hybrid documentary called “The Endless Market.” The film is based around the design of a fictional tower that forms an archive of stories from an important market in Mumbai that is now threatened by gentrification. It is constructed as a collage of live footage and visual effects. This film gave me a chance to explore my photography skills while filming live footage of real people and also learn skills such as 3D modelling, texturing, camera projection, matte painting, video and audio editing and compositing. This got me well versed with software such as 3DS Max, Vray, Nuke, After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
I recently worked with seminal production designer Alex Mcdowell as a concept designer on a series of world-building projects for industry. As a concept designer, I developed both 2D and 3D concept visuals, 3D modeling, camera projections, for a world building project called “The City of Tomorrow” for Ford’s exhibit in CES 2018.
I am currently looking for any designer, compositor, modeler or environment 3D artist full time opportunities.
