Tickets are now available for The VFX Festival, which is returning in February 2023 as hybrid event,  hosted in-person at Escape Studios’ central London campus and streamed live online to provide access  for a global audience. 

The VFX Festival brings together the creative community, allowing emerging talent to explore the best of  the screen industries and provides opportunities for professionals to expand their knowledge. Speakers  from some of the world’s leading studios will be presenting in 2023, featuring:

The festival will feature insights into award-winning productions, inspiring expert-led presentations and  careers advice, as well as the latest trends, technology, and innovation. In 2023, there are four areas of  The VFX Festival: 

The VFX Festival EDU – Tuesday 21st February 2023  

EDU is tailored to school and college students (under 18 years), who are excited to learn about the  world of visual effects, animation, game art and motion graphics. This part of the festival is filled with  inspiring sessions and top tips from industry professionals about how future actions can lead to the  exciting world of creative industries. 

The VFX Festival Emerging Talent Wednesday 22nd and Thursday, 23rd February 2023 Emerging Talent is for students currently studying within Higher or Further Education, recent graduates  looking to kick start a career, and professionals wanting to learn more about the industry. The festival is  filled with inspiring talks, presentations, panel discussions, careers, and recruitment opportunities. This  part of the festival includes the Marketplace – a small exhibition area where studios can meet talent. 

The VFX Festival Masterclass Tuesday, 21st to Wednesday 22nd February 2023 This part of the festival includes late afternoon and evening talks, presentations and hands-on  workshops. It is dedicated to industry professionals looking for knowledge-building and networking  opportunities; and young professionals looking to progress their career in the screen industry.

The VFX Festival After Hours Thursday 23rd February 2023 

Open to all, a networking event hosted in the late afternoon. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet like minded industry professionals and recruiters to hear about job opportunities and learn about the future  of the industry.
