ACCESS:VFX in partnership with We Are Stripes, are proud to finally launch XVFX with an evening of connection and networking at Framestore on Thu, 25 November 2021.

Set up in 2020 by ACCESS:VFX Non-Executive Directors Gin Godden, Anne Akande and Nene Parsotam, XVFX focuses on raising the visibility of people of colour in the VFX, games and animation industries.

Through ACCESS:VFX, it offers mentoring and outreach programmes with the aim of increasing diversity in the industry.

About Gin Godden

During a career spanning more than 20 years, Gin has worked on most sides of the industry with Directors of film, TV & advertising. Having worked up from a 3rd Assistant Director in live action with some multi award winning Production companies, her career has taken her on into animation & VFX, where she has held positions of Executive Producer at Smoke & Mirrors for Jaguar Land Rover, Executive Producer at The Mill for Automotive, Head of Production at Prime Focus Commercials & Executive Producer of Studio at McCann Advertising. During her career, Gin has worked on award winning projects for “Knife Crime”, “British Airways”, “Range Rover Evoque ” & “Purina”, often utilising emerging technologies rolled out across an array of challenging environments. Gin continues to work as a VFX Producer, & is currently in pre-production for a Sky commissioned TV series.

About Anne Akande

Anne has been producing for over a decade and brings experience in various areas of the creative industry from advertising, immersive content, now focusing on VFX in recent years. She is passionate about building strong relationships both with clients and her team, working to get the best out of everyone whilst serving wholeheartedly. Currently VFX Producer and TV Central Production Manager at DNEG, Anne believes in the power of storytelling and is a big advocate of inclusion in every level of the business and the creative process.
