I am a visual effects supervisor / Compositor with over 30 years’ experience in high profile films worldwide. Co-founder of the first visual effects boutique in Hollywood using off the shelf hardware and software. In the original film, “The Crow”, helped to develop a technique used to replace Brandon Lee’s head. Helped a military company, Areté Associates, transitioning part of their company into a mainstream production tool, Areté Image Software, Digital Nature Tools, Jerry Tessendorf water simulation software used on Titanic, Waterworld and many others high budget films. Worked on the second-High Definition film in Hollywood, an independent production directed by Barry Alexander Brown (Spike Lee’s longtime Editor, 2019 Academy Award nominee for film editing for “BlacKkKlansman”). I understand all aspects of film production with emphasis in solving problems and keep budgets in check.
I always say that working in film you must have great work ethics; it is imperative to be a team player and not to bring your ego with you.
