Nu Boyana Fx is a VFX division of Nu Boyana Film Studios, working on feature films, commercials, music videos and games. I.D.A. is the first original short film coming from the studio. It was born as a project, meant to channel the team’s creativity and experiments during the time between productions. The model is based on scans of one of our colleagues. From then on it was advanced in Zbrush, the textures were done in Mari, the animation is entirely key-frame, the grooming was done in Yeti, everything is rendered with V-Ray and we used Nuke for compositing.
