Check out the nice work from VFX Legion on Madam Secretary.

VFX Legion has completed work on season five of ”Madam Secretary,’ and released a Breakdown Reel showcasing some of the most challenging CG shots created for the CBS series.

Shot in New York, with a storyline rooted in Washington, D.C., the logistics of the political drama called for Creative Director/VFX Supervisor, James David Hattin and Legion’s artists to craft a broad range of computer-generated shots.

The visual effects include everything from large-scale set extensions, matte paintings, digitally bulked up crowds, and a CG environment for a VR reality game – to photorealistic digital replications of environments in the nation’s capital, and other locations that are integral to the geopolitical issues addressed by the show.
